Culture shock

到日本留學或打工的人，或多或少都會遇到一些culture shock, 此乃白先勇先生所說的外來文化衝擊。

對於我來說，我遇到的culture shock 有以下幾種。讓我跟大家分享一下吧！

1. Rajio 體操  (ラジオ体操)
NHK 的 Rajio 體操有3set不同的音樂跟動作。學校會播放給各老師跟同學一起做。
我公司每天早上9時正都會做Rajio 體操。所以，基本上是不容許遲到的。照我估計，99%日本人都記得ラジオ体操第1 & 第2 full set的動作。

2. 植物
原來，放在公司的植物可以做到一不染，是要人手每一片每一片擦乾淨的。我以前的公司是由reception 姐姐擦的。

3. 蓋上廁所板蓋
經常去日本的朋友都知道日本人在完廁後會蓋上廁所板。起初不知是什麼一回事，究竟應該把板子打開還是不打開，會不會“賴野”？
現在，有時在香港都會錯手把廁所板蓋上。Sorry!

4. 放涼了的便當
我很喜歡日本的便當，皆因每一盒都很精緻，一份主菜加上很多配菜，一次過滿足饞嘴的我。但大家有沒有發現在超市或火車站賣的便當總是涼的。我當然明白那都是預製的便當，不會像大X樂或大X活的飯盒那樣熱騰騰的。就算是OL帶了自製的便當回公司，Lunch的時候也不會加熱。日本人發明了微波爐, 但不知為何, 他們不會把便當放入微波爐加熱，所以日本的便當總是涼的。

Nodame Cantabile

Nodame Cantabile のだめカンタービレ 是由二ノ宮知子以古典音樂作為題材的漫畫作品改編的日本電視劇，其後，最終樂章歐洲篇的日本電影版於2009年12月及2010年4月在日本上映。韓國版的電視劇『明日如歌』則於2014年起在KBS電視台播映。

由於此劇在日本大受歡迎，千秋前輩替nodame弄得料理也在日本商品化，在family mart限時發售。

Oga Penisular 男鹿半島

男鹿半島(Oga Penisular)位於秋田縣的西部, 臨近日本海, 沿岸有很多陡峭的懸崖, 山路起伏。 今次老遠去男鹿半島, 目的只有一個, 就是為了看ナマハゲ (Namahage)。

在JR秋田站內, 已經有2隻Namahage迎接我們了!!

各商店也有出售印有Namahage公仔的手信! Q板Namahage很可愛哦~~~!!

在JR秋田站外租了車, 便往男鹿半島出發. 當中, 發生了一段小插曲. 話說我們應該向男方面進發, 但一上了有料高速公路後, 跟據GPS的指示, 但我們竟然走錯方向, 往秋田南駛去. 沒辦法!! 唯有在Next Exit出, 再上高速公路. 但好景不常, 我們在進高速公路的閘口時忘了取票, 結果在出閘口時要跟票站人員解釋。

晚上，當然是去Namahage館看Namahage太鼓表演和Namahage進入民居嚇小孩的表演啦。

福袋 (Fuku-bukuro) literally refers to “Lucky Bag”, but it is usually referred to “Happy Bag” of bargain sales nowadays.  It is a New Year custom (may be throughout the year as well) where businessmen fill with random products and sell to general public at a substantial discount to attract customers to shop.  It is one of the major events in Japan.  Fuku-bukuro (Happy Bag) sales usually starts on Jan 2 (Jan 1 is public holiday, but some shops will open & start selling happy bag on Jan 1).  However, the economy is getting worse, businessmen want to boost up their sales and create a happy atmosphere for customer to shop.  Similar to the Boxing Sales in North America, Japanese Happy Bag Sales now starts from early or mid December.

In most cases, there is “No refund or No exchange” on Happy Bag.  As a result, you need to make sure your size when you pick any fashion Happy Bag as the bag will be filled up with clothes e.g. jumper, T-shirt, jacket in same size.  You cannot choose the color, style, contents.  Businessmen used to fill up with unsellable items or obsolete items inside the bag as a bundle.  But still, the total retail price of the items inside will be much more than the selling price of the Happy Bag itself.  The Happy Bag will be marked as 10,000 yen, 20,000 yen or 30,000 yen.  In some cases, it could be sold at 100,000 yen or 1,000yen depends on the cost of the products.

Anyway, try to study the flyers or the websites of the stores you want to buy the Happy Bag first.  Then, target on few of the Happy Bags (Yes!! Not all of them!!!).  And make sure you check the stores opening hours during the New Year or the start day of Happy Bag Sales and its delivery charge if buy online.  Below are some of the websites you could check in advance (Sorry! 2010 Expo 上海世博

上海世博會開幕前的小風波.

世博會的宣傳歌曲曾一度被指抄襲日本歌手岡本真夜的" そのままの君でいて",上海世博局起初暫停使用被指抄襲的歌曲,之後, 更戲劇化地表示以向岡本真夜事務取得版權。

就是因為這抄襲事件, 令中日網民在網上展開了小小的罵戰. 普遍的日本人都認為抄襲是十分可恥的事, 但中國網民卻不認為是抄襲, 只是有點相似罷了. 有中國網民更聲稱這是為了要向全世界展示中國的盜版技術(或藝術??). 有的認為日本也抄襲了中國不少的文化云云.

是原作還是抄襲?? 套用陳總的一句:"真的假不了,假的真不了"!!! 但我可以肯定的是岡本真夜成為了這次風波的大贏家, 皆因她的 そのままの君でいて成為日本在過去2週點擊下載率最高的歌曲, 而她的最新大碟亦被追捧, 所以她和她的事務所必須替上海世博局講些好說話來打完場.

Ukiyoe 浮世絵の変種

浮世繪是日本版畫的一種, 源於17世紀，主要描繪當時人們日常生活、風景、戲劇、戰爭、歷史、武將豪傑、甚至春畫(性風俗圖)等. 其實, 浮世繪在明治時代以後漸漸被日本民眾忽視, 結果很多作品被當成廢紙, 包裹著輸進歐洲的日本陶瓷中. 在1865年, 偶然間被一法國畫家發現了浮世繪著名畫家葛飾北斎的漫画, 得到西方印象派高度的讚揚和評價, 結果一傳十,十傳百.

浮世繪與當時西方藝術是互相影響著的. 在日本方面, 葛飾北斎用了西方藝術的遠近法, 繪畫了有前後景的冨嶽三十六景; 在歐洲方面, 荷蘭後印象派畫家梵谷Van Gogh將浮世繪的元素融入他的作品中, 如 Portrait of Père Tanguy (Father Tanguy) 的背景就有幾幅浮世繪. 在音樂方面，古典音樂作曲家Achille-Claude Debussy 亦受到葛飾北斎《神奈川沖浪裏》的啟發，創作了交響詩《海》(La Mer)。

浮世繪的用色很多, 但最為人欣賞的就是紺青色(こんじょう=藍色). 在當時, 調配藍色不是易事, 所以藍染或藍彩的產品非常少見. 這種紺青色是在1704年波斯發明的合成顔料, 故稱為Prussian Blue(プルシアン・ブルー). 這種紺青色用現今的RGB碼是#1a4472; 而CMYK約是C80 M60 Y0 K60. 我最欣賞的就是葛飾北斎的冨嶽三十六景《神奈川沖浪裏》, 他用了不同深淺的藍色來繪畫不同層次的海浪. 再細看, 你可有發現大海裡有3條裝備簡陋的漁船? 每條船上還有數名船員, 驚惶失色地沖浪而去. 蓋著白雪的富士山, 雖然被畫得小小的, 但它仍然穩如泰山地聳立在遠處, 靜觀其變.

在2009年12月, 我在香港太古城中心2期與1期連接的天橋上看到一個很有趣的展覽. 這個小型畫展展示了小朋友以浮世繪的作品, 再加上他們的想像力和創意, 繪畫了新一代的浮世絵, 我稱之為浮世絵の変種. 美極了!!
